The install takes a few minutes and needs no WiFi, power, or new wiring. Watch the video, or follow the four steps below.
Step 1: Mount the flow meter
Mount the flow meter on the filter head outlet. It comes with standard 3/8" or 3/4" threading that fits most water filters directly.
Step 2: Connect Beam and flow meter
Plug the flow meter into the Beam box. That automatically powers the box and starts the network connection. The device runs on its own network with a built-in battery.
Step 3: Let it connect
When the high beep stops, the device connects to the network automatically. Four short beeps confirm the connection is up and everything works.
Step 4: Done
The device is now connected and running. Water-usage data is sent automatically and processed in Backoffice.
