Does Flowplan work with BRITA PURITY C filters?
Yes, and with every other cartridge you fit. Flowplan counts the litres going through the housing rather than reading anything off the cartridge, so the brand in the head makes no difference to it.
What does Flowplan do that the BRITA iQ Portal does not?
Three things. It covers the filters you buy from every other supplier, not only the BRITA ones. It plans the route for you, and it works out what is worth doing on the same trip: every filter is judged against its own run time, so when one is close to due and its site sits near a job you are already making, it comes forward onto that visit instead of a second drive. And it watches for leaks, so a line still running after the kitchen shuts gets flagged.
What is the difference between Flowplan and the iQ Meter?
The iQ Meter is a flow meter. It counts the litres through the cartridge and tells you how many are left. Flowplan is the system that plans the work around that number. It predicts the date each filter is due from the way the machine is actually used, puts that job on a technician’s route, groups it with the other jobs nearby, and flags a line that is still running when it should not be. The litre count is where Flowplan starts.
Can it cover the coffee machines as well?
Yes. Flowplan counts cups and tracks how each coffee is brewed, and it does the same job on taps, dishwashers and ice machines. A meter built into a filter head only ever sees the filter.
