We started Flowplan in 2018 to turn consumption data into operations. Today our sensors and platform measure usage across coffee machines, tap systems, and industrial appliances throughout Europe.
Flowplan was founded in 2018 on the idea that coffee machine service and scale filter changes should be based on data, not guesswork. Since then, millions of liters of water have flowed through our installations, and we have adapted the solution to work on everything from ice machines to draft beer systems.
Flowplan's solution is the most universal on the market today for remote reading of consumption. Our solutions reduce unnecessary driving, cut filter waste, and extend the lifetime of machines. Scale filters, used on all water-consuming industrial machines such as coffee machines and washing machines, need to be changed regularly. Our solution continuously measures the exact water consumption of each machine and uses the collected data to schedule filter changes, so every filter is changed on time.
End users such as cafés, restaurants, and bars benefit from lower costs through reduced mileage, lower annual scale filter consumption, and fewer costly repairs caused by calcified machines.
At Flowplan, we are proud to have been awarded the Solar Impulse label in spring 2020. We received the certificate for our sustainable business model, where consideration for the environment is a key element.
